I have a strong passion to help people move past whatever is in their life blocking them from living how they want to live and having the types of relationships they desire. I have been providing therapy for over 20 years and I have worked with many different populations and needs. I completed my Master's in social work at Temple University in 2000 and was clinically licensed in 2004 in New Jersey. I also became licensed in Pennsylvania, Florida and Utah. Since then I have received additional training and certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Approach-Trauma focused treatment, Somatic Experiencing, Attachment styles, Dissisociative patterns and EMDR. I have provided trauma focused trainings to various groups and organizations. I am specialized in trauma treatment along with attachment concerns and dissociative qualities. I can assist with individual or family needs. I enjoy utilizing an approach that is warm, humorous and empowering.
I combine mindfulness based techniques along with a body-focused modality called Somatic Experiencing, This approach brings the mind and the body into peace, regulation and coherence.
During the first meeting, I am interested in understanding what your concerns and needs are and what is prohibiting you from living the life you desire to live. I believe developing a strong therapeutic relationship between myself and the client is vital to successful treatment. I strive to come alongside you to create a goal and plan that you believe will move you towards the life you want to live.
